By using any of the services provided by VehicleAid.com (including but
not limited to the reading of topics, questions, answers, personal
opinions, viewing images, viewing video, asking questions, creating an
account, and submitting anything to the site) you are agreeing to these
terms of use and are bound by this agreement. If you do not agree with
one of the provisions in this agreement, let us know, but realize that
you are still bound by it as long as you continue to participate on the
site.
Images
Users have the ability to upload images of their personal vehicles as
well as a number of other vehicle related topics including images of a
part or section of their vehicle that may assist in explaining a
question that they have posted. This is a freedom that is originally up
to the discernment of the user and will be able to stand unapproved
until a moderator or administrator has looked over the post or page.
Images that are uploaded by an individual may not contain nudity,
pornographic imagery or the equivalent of pornography, gore or any
violent act, explicit language, and/or any offensive material.
Any material posted that contains any of the above mentioned subjects
will be promptly removed by a member of the administration and the
posting member is subject to either a warning, suspension from posting
images, suspension from the site, or a complete ban from the site should
the user persist.
The administration of VehicleAid.com reserves the right to remove any
image that they feel constitutes removal without warning or permissions
from the original image poster regardless of reason.
Logos and Trademarks
All Vehicle Aid logos and trademarks are copyright VehicleAid.com ©
2004-2008. Any use of these logos without the expressed permission of
the VehicleAid.com owners and administration is strictly prohibited by
law.
VehicleAid.com gives users the opportunity to post their own images of
their vehicles, other vehicles, and other vehicular subjects. These
images are that of the poster and are not the liability of
VehicleAid.com. Moderators will be alert to remove any image displaying
the copyrighted trademark of another company or group, but it is
expected that certain items can and do slip by. In these cases the image
is completely the property of the poster and will be considered a
liability of that poster, not VehicleAid.com.
In the event that a poster is displaying images that contain copyrighted
and trademarked logos, it is to be noted that VehicleAid.com is making
no profit from this display and therefore the issue lies completely on
the user that posted the image.
Although VehicleAid.com gives an effort to curb this issue, we are not
at all responsible for the submissions of others concerning logos and
trademarks and are not responsible for their appearance on webspace that
has been surrendered to the discernment of a user.
Licensed names that pertain to various organizations and companies are
also applied to this method. While VehicleAid.com will attempt to keep
the use of names and trademarks out we assume no responsibility for the
use of such names.
All logos, trademarks, models, and names are copyright to their
respective companies and are not for commercial use.
Opinions and Answers
VehicleAid.com provides an arena for the trading of information,
opinions, and suggestions between it’s users. These opinions are that of
the users and do not directly reflect that of the VehicleAid.com staff
or administration.
All answers given to questions, comments, and suggestions are that of
the user and have no connection to VehicleAid.com.
While we pride ourselves in the ability to bring together knowledgeable
users and non-knowledgeable alike it is completely up to the individual
to discern the level of knowledge another individual has, and is
completely responsible for any advice that they take concerning their
vehicle or any other aspect of the site.
While VehicleAid.com does have a “Mechanical Skill” rating system it is
to be noted that this system is based completely off of a user’s
feedback from other users and is not at all a measurable representation
of an individual’s knowledge.
All advice taken is to be taken at your own risk, and all opinions
offered are strictly hypothetical and not backed by Vehicleaid.com.
Harassment
Harassment will not be tolerated by the administration of VehicleAid.com
and any comments or images that are found to be a form of harassment
will be removed upon our knowledge of them.
Harassment includes, but isn’t limited to:
Posts that are demeaning and/or insulting to a person
Posts that are demeaning and/or insulting to a race
Posts that are demeaning and/or insulting to a religion
Stalking or overwhelming a user
Using any programs or tools to damage or take over another user’s account
Threats against any user, race, or religion
Images that are demeaning or insulting to any user, race, or religion
Displaying any personal information of either yourself or another user
No form or racial attack will be tolerated. No form of attack on a
religion will be tolerated. VehicleAid.com is a worldwide community and
is open to all races and religions.
If any form of harassment is detected by the administration it will be
removed immediately and the poster is subject to a warning, suspension,
or complete ban.
Punishments are at the discernment of the administration.
Language Filters
In an effort to keep offensiveness at a low level, VehicleAid.com uses a
language filter to help discourage offensive language. This is done in
part to protect the average user from unwanted controversy as well as
keep our site friendly.
We ask that you continue this effort by not fighting against the filter.
Hackers and Spammers
Any attempts to hack, or maliciously change any of VehicleAid.com will
be seen as cause for a complete and immediate ban from the site and all
sites involved with VehicleAid.com.
Changing or damaging any of the site without expressed permissions is
strictly prohibited.
Spamming is prohibited. Spamming consists of, but is not limited to:
Posting non-sponsor websites in posts
Posting non-sponsor websites in your signature.
Starting posts just to advertise a website
Uploading adware to VehicleAid.com that automatically advertises, creates accounts, or sends emails.
Spammers will be warned, and then banned.
Any form of attack on the programming of VehicleAid.com will be seen as
a request to be removed from the site.
