That does sound right to me but if i were you i would check with the store where you buy them. I say this because some spark plugs you buy today cannot be gapped so just be sure to check it out.

All plugs can be gapped unless they are the "trick"plugs. caeser is correct on the gap. Use either Champion or Bosch in your vehicle.

No i have to disagree there are plugs sold that should not be changed fom there factory settings. But it is no big deal as long as this helped cibroh.

ALL plugs should be gapped. They are shipped in cardboard and you don't know how they were handled. Of course this is my opinion and opinions of older mechanics. Don't mean to trip your trigger Joe.

Hey no problem. Just what i have been taught. It's not a real common thing. I just know that some of the fancy plugs out there today should not be gapped. I quess i should have said in the begining that i was refering to alot of the modern fancy things that people are for some reason starting to use today.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you the exact gap. Get a haynes manual at autozone or online. This will help you with future mechanical problems. It has codes, specifications etc. I will continue to search 4 you. But the manual will help you greatly AND will save you many points that you are wasting (no disrespect, just trying to help like a friend). I will continue the search. -rafael
