| Recent Repairs: Installed 2 O2 sensors within the last 3 months |
I recently replaced 2 oxygen sensors after the check enginge light came on. My truck had been running a little rough (missing and knocking sound when I would slow down and accelerate). I thought it was just the 02 sensor. But about a month it would start really hard once in a while. When I turn the key, it turns over really good but makes alot of clanking sounds. I know the battery is good. It sounds like it just wont quite fire up. Sometimes I\'ll have to turn it over 5-7 times before it will start. It has only done this for 2 or 3 days in the last 2 months. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I dont know much, but it seems like the ignition is okay, and the starter is okay. It acts like it isnt getting enough fuel or something when I start it. Whether that has anything to do with the problem I dont know. |
