I was wanting to purchase a cold air intake, but I heard that in the summer time it sucks up to much hot air is that true? Just want ed some opinions before i purchase one .

It will not suck any more hot air than a stock intake. The most common problem is over oiling the filters after cleaning the filter. The oil will get on the MAF wire and cause drivibility problems.
