here is my problem.
The following items are all affected......windshield wiper/washer, power windows, radio, heater blower, switched accessory power plug on dash.
rear wiper will work, but stops wherever it is when the switch is turned off (does not return to \"rest\" location)
These items have been noted to do this in any driving,..... slow/ fast/stop/go...
Problem occurs more notably in rain/snow/splashing but also occurs in very cold.
I can stop the van, turn it off, and the affected items will come back on when the key is one notch away from start, but go dead again once the key returns to normal run position.
Sometimes when they go dead, I can pullover, put it in P, turn it off and restart, but as soon as I shift to D, they go dead again.
I have driven for days with no incident.
I can also drive and the affected items will go on and off at completely random times............often after 20 minutes or so of driving, they come back on again.
I seem to recall someone saying something about a \"B\" pillar?? ground location............a guy who I work with has logically suggested a poor common ground point..........and I think I may have heard talk of a BCM issue.
Can someone help with this.......it\'s REAL hard to drive in wet snow with no wipers, and to pull over when you can\'t see the ditch/gaurdrail is not a lot of fun........especially at night time......
I had it in today and the guy starts the van.......pulls the EATX relay......everything affected comes on.
he plugs the relay back in....all is fine.
Why the EATX relay??????? mystery.
