Damage To The Engine Share:
Vehicle: 2003 Toyota Tundra 4WD
Engine: L4 1.0 L
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD
Current Mileage: 120000
Recent Repairs: Oil change
I had oil change done on my pick up the mechanic either forgot to place the plug back in or not tight enough. I drove app 6 miles with no oil. I noticed the ticking then was driving back to the shop when my truck shut off in the middle of a four lane highway so i had to restart the truck and drive maybe 100 feet to the garage.
Mechanic check no plug, so they replaced oil back in the truck started it up and now it make a nosie when running when before it the engine was so guiet that you could tell it was running. Is there damage to the engine and if so would I see the damage right away or could it happen later on with use of the truck

Yhe place that did the oil change is responsible for any damage caused by their mistake. If it is making noise now, it will just get worse if it is continued in everyday use. Either have the oil change place repair, or acknowledge the mishap and have it repaired somewhere else and the oilo change place pay for repairs. But it does need to be documented.
