~ the radio always ask for the security code upon start up.
~ it idols real low (between 100 and 300 rpms).

~ the interior light no longer works.

~ the power locks do not work when the car is off. (they did before).

All this from changing the antenna? Sounds to me like you blew a fuse (or a few fuses) in the process. First, make sure the antenna is wired properly. Then, locate your fuse boxes and make sure you have voltage on both sides of each fuse with the ignition on. Also check for continuity on each fuse itself. For the radio, you'll have to get a re-activation code from a dealership or your owners manual - it's used as an anti-theft device but can backfire on the owner, as you experienced.

Hope this helps,
Aaron

i have checked and changed a few fuzes that have fixed some other problems; however these issues I could not locate a description for in the owners manual as to which fuse it would be. I have a security code that was given in the manual however as soon as you turn the car off and then back on it asks for the code again. is there anything Im missing? Can you tell me Where I can find the fuse/fuses that might be the problem?

There is a wire that should come from the radio and go to a constant 12 volt source, so that when the car is off, the radio retains its memory. Perhaps is the process of rewiring the antenna this wire was crimped, detached, etc., causing the radio to shut off completely with the ignition. I'm not sure what the color of this wire would be, for that you'll have to consult a haynes or chiltons manual.

There should be a fuse box under the dash and perhaps one or two under the hood. Again, you'll have to consult a manual for this info as I do not have access to them at this point. My guess is that there is one or two main accessory fuses that were burned out in the process of replacing the antenna.

Sorry I couldnt give you any more specific information, however the info exists in the manuals I mentioned above. They will also come in handy in the future as well.

Thanks For your time. Your Answer was a big help. I was able to locate a fuse under the hood and fix all of the interior problems. I have not been successful in isolating the radio wire responsible for that issue but your advis will help in determining that issue.
