Starts After Jump But Won't Keep Running Share:

Hi,

I have a fairly new battery 3 years (Diehard). I drove my car Saturday without a problem. Wednesday I go to leave and the car won't start. I jump it and drive around the block a few times to get things charged up. I leave it running and go into the house for a few minutes and come back out and its off again. I jump it and it starts so I backed it in to the garage. Any ideas as to whats up? I know the battery is good, I checked the connections, could it be the alternator? O2 censor?

Thanks

Dodges are real sensitive to voltages, If the battery voltage is a little low, it can cause your problem. Be sure the battery is fully charged. If you have to jump the vehicle to start it, that means the battery is not good. Just because it is 3 years old does not mean it is good.
