What Needs To Be Replaced In A High Mileage Vehicle?

Vehicle: 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis

Engine: V8 4.6 L

Transmission: Automatic

Drivetrain: RWD

Current Mileage: 133000

I just purchased a used 2000 grand marquis with 133000 mile and I replaced all the suspension parts and I love the car..I am willing to spend whatsoever on this car to make it just like new...I do not have a problem spending a fortune on it ..I plan to use it for at least 100000 miles and I need to know all the parts that need to be replaced in this vehicle to restore its performance and make run like a champ........Please help me wuth details as soon as possible

So is this a question for us, or a plug for a site? If it is a question for us, please state your question clearly. If you have completely replaced all the suspension, what do you want us to help with? If this is a pitch for a sales site, you need to contact the site owner to see if they will allow this.

The truth here is that on a higher millage car a complet tune up wouldnt hurt. Plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter. Just give it the works. Then i would have the throttle body taken off and cleaned really well. And that should take care of the motor. I would then have a coolant flush done. A brake flush, A power steering flush and a transmission flush done then you have all new fluids and good service records. These are items that i would attend to if you really want miles from this car. Good luck...
